Healing Meditation Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo says of Karma - "How can we ever end it?" When we are always doing actions with our body, our speech and our mind. The belief we have in the "I" as the one doing the action. We need to learn to let go of that "I" - The Me. Karma means Action, and it needs an Actor and as long as we believe that it is the "I" doing something, we are sowing the seeds of Karma - Let go the "I" So release from the mind, transcend it as you rest in awareness. Surrender and relax into the experience, and allow it. Give yourself permission to heal by bringing your attention to your heart, activate the healing response. Notice: *What draws your attention away? *How do you bring it back? *Keep coming back with kindness and compassion. Allow the "I" - the identity to have a day off as you activate healing in your heart. Affirming Body Scan
In this guided meditation practice you will experience a body scan to help you relax your body and release any tension there as you settle into the experience. As you naturally deepen your breath as your awareness moves inwards, we begin a mantra practice using the "SO HUM" Mantra and as you come to the end of the meditation you will be invited to include your own personal affirmation. This is a short, positive, present-moment statement that you say 2/3 times silently to yourself: I Am Peaceful & Calm, I Am Loving & Kind, I Am Perfectly Healthy.
