I’m resuming this blog with a renewed sense of curiosity and intention. I find myself increasingly drawn to ideas and practices that can gently—but powerfully—shift our perspective. Moving us from simply surviving or getting by… into something richer. Something more alive. Perhaps even into a state we might call human flourishing.

Are you in?

This is a space for coming alive to your own life—gently, honestly, and with curiosity. Through meditation, dream exploration, creativity and reflections from lived experience, it is time to shift the focus on Wake Up Little Suzi - and explore what it means to live with awareness in a deeper, more intentional way.

It’s not that we are broken, but maybe there is room for improvement. At times, it can feel as though we are sleepwalking through our days—moving on autopilot—while at night we drift through fragmented dreams, restless and untethered. We wake up, groggy, sleepy and stumble out of bed, and begin again… still not fully here.

What might it mean to truly wake up? With awareness, feeling vibrant and really alive.

This isn’t about fixing yourself or striving for some ideal version of who you think you should be. It’s about noticing. Softening. Paying attention. Opening to the texture and richness of each moment, just as it is.

Recall the fragments of your dreams, the tone of the night—sit with them, rest in them. There is something here, just beneath the surface, waiting to be felt rather than understood. From this place of awareness, you can begin to shift—gently, creatively.

Let your imagination open. Step into the story as the dragon slayer, the hero or heroine of your own unfolding life. Not as escape, but as possibility. Sense what it feels like to inhabit that version of yourself—curious, courageous, and fully alive.

Become the playful, imaginal creator of your inner world, where new scenes can emerge and old patterns can soften. And from this place—aware, engaged, and open—you may find that thriving is not something to chase, but something that begins to arise naturally from within.

Especially in this season of life, there is a quiet invitation: to be more playful, to reimagine, to shift from doing to being—and to begin, perhaps for the first time, to truly thrive from within. Here, awareness becomes the doorway to presence and insight, to a more conscious, creative, vibrant way of being.

Wake up. Live consciously. Thrive.

I’ll meet you here.

YES to: Wake Up. Live Consciously. Thrive.

The word "Softening" has come up for me quite a bit lately. I am listening.

Also, the theme of survival to recovery to THRIVING has also been repeated to me in the past few months. There is no "escape room" to lifes ups and downs...and sideways movements. But we do have tools to use to thrive and build a resilient nature.

I really resonated with this blog post. Thank you Suzi.

I know and feel the next year and a half or going to be transformative in many ways for me.

I am excited to step into this chapter of my life as the dragon slayer, my own hero of this unfolding with…
